The first public call offered the owners of commonhold units in older multi-dwelling buildings financing with a combination of a loan from the reserve fund and a grant (grants alone could not be obtained), while the second offered financing with a combination of grants and funds from the energy contracting provider (with the payment of renovation services based on invoices; commonhold unit owners find an energy contracting provider on the market of service providers).
Eligible buildings must have more than eight units and more than eight different commonhold unit owners, taking into consideration that more than half of the surface of the building must be in residential use and more than half of all owners must be natural persons (private individuals). The funds will be conditional on the complete renovation of the building, which can be carried out as the coordinated realisation of three or more acts of building energy renovation or as a nearly-zero renovation.
